Brian Camelio is a Grammy® Award-winning producer, composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist with 45+ years creating music across jazz, classical, pop, and rock. In 2021, he won a Grammy Award for producing Maria Schneider’s “Data Lords,” which also earned Schneider recognition as a Pulitzer Prize finalist. His work spans multiple Grammy-winning and Grammy-nominated recordings, with compositions featured on network television and garnering millions of streams.
As a producer, composer, and arranger, Brian specializes in full orchestration, songwriting, and album production across genres. His multi-instrumentalist background and 15 years as a professional touring musician inform his hands-on approach to every aspect of production—from intimate ensemble work to major orchestral recordings.
Brian has built long-term creative partnerships with some of the most respected artists in contemporary music. His seven-album collaboration with 2004 NEA Jazz Master Jim Hall—widely regarded as one of the most influential jazz guitarists in history—represents a significant body of work in the jazz canon. He has produced multiple projects with Grammy-winning composer Maria Schneider Orchestra, and his collaborations extend from opera legend Renée Fleming to rock innovator Trey Anastasio of PHISH, and everything in between.
